Care Choices was concerned that their site was not all it could
be.
They had a goal to make it the industry standard for healthcare web
sites. We performed a competitive analysis of multiple health care
information sites from a user interface and requirements perspective
for them.
The analysis was used to guide the necessary interface re-design
for this HMO provider. Delivery included recommendations for new site
functionality and improvements in existing presentation to bring the
new site to a Best of Breed level.
Of course - it's a clients option to heed your advice or ignore it,
and not everyone always takes it. Corporate attachments to their shade
of red can be overly pervasive at times (remember - your corporate
culture is not always your users culture.
